FALL MATCH PLAY - NET BRACKET (HANDICAPS ARE 80%)
The seedings for this tournament were based on Handicaps as listed on Sept. 12.
If your opponent has provided his email address, you can click on his name to send him an email regarding your match. Net Division opponents decide on the #1 tee how they will play their match. Whatever they agree to is fine. (Relating to which tees, playing the ball "up" or "down", etc.) Current handicaps will be used in the tournament. The Handicap you start with in Round One may not be the same Handicap you play Round Two with, etc.
SPECIAL NOTE: Look closely at the bottom of the bracket in the second round. In order to speed up play,
the loser of the first match played has the option of buying back into the tournament. Whoever gets their
first round match in the quickest - the loser of the match can buy back into the second round for an additional
$5. If that individual chooses not to buy back in, then the loser of the second quickest played match can
buy back in, and so on. (If there is more than one first round match played on "opening day", then the losers that want a chance to buy back in will be placed in a drawing to determine who advances.) PLAY BEGINS ON MON., SEPT. 13. You have 10 days to play your first round match.
If your first round match is not completed by SEPT. 22, the match will be forfeited. If you are the one that
has made the effort to get the match in, you will advance. If you are having difficulty getting your match played, please contact Charlie Steward at 847-0006 or email at charlie@golfozarks.com. REGARDLESS OF WHETHER YOUR MATCH IS PLAYED OR NOT, YOUR ENTRY FEE IS NON-REFUNDABLE. NO EXCEPTIONS, PLEASE. Every effort has been made by the Tournament Chairman to make it easy to contact your opponent. There should be no reason why the first round matches cannot be completed by SEPT. 22.
