JUNE
9 UPDATE.
The
eighth week of league play drew 14 golfers under threatening
skies. Luckily everyone finished and scoring was good as usual.
Once again, Ray Graham led the way with an 81. John Dilbeck
had an 85 while Dwayne Martin posted a 90.
Our new handicap scoring system is in play. Based on individual
handicaps, points are awarded each week for the first 4 places.
They are:
4 for 1st; 3 for 2nd; 2 for 3rd and 1 for 4th. Ties will each
be awarded the same amount.
Results are the first seven weeks show Gary Gordon and Rich
Brunetto with 15 pts are in first place. John Dilbeck and
Dick Schroeder are tied for second with 12, and Jerry Shelton
is in third with 9. Three others are tied for fourth.
The league still needs golfers. Play is on Wednesday mornings
at 8:30. Fee is $10 with a $2 kitty. Anyone interested just
show up or call Rich Brunetto @ 858-3490 for further info.
