If hole 16 is a "look to" hole - then hole 17 is a "look past" hole. A par on this hole is a great accomplishment. The hole usually seems to play longer than it is. The sand traps come into play and even the water has it's share of casualties.

The green is one of the larger ones on the course and many times if you hit the green with your tee shot, the dreaded three putt looms large.
